Welcome to SEO PRO - Total Control ("we," "our," or "us"). By installing and using the SEO PRO - Total Control Shopify application (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

1. Use of the App

SEO PRO - Total Control provides Shopify merchants with tools to audit, generate, and manage SEO metadata (titles, descriptions, and ALT texts) using Artificial Intelligence. You agree to use the App solely for your own Shopify store and in compliance with Shopify’s Acceptable Use Policy.

2. AI Generation and Credits

The App utilizes third-party Artificial Intelligence (Google Gemini) to generate text. While we strive for high-quality outputs, we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or SEO ranking success of the generated content. You are responsible for reviewing and approving all AI-generated content before saving it to your store. The use of AI generation may be subject to fair-use credit limits as displayed within the App.

3. Intellectual Property

The App, including its code, design, and internal prompt engineering, is the intellectual property of SEO PRO - Total Control. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, or distribute the App.

4. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SEO PRO - Total Control shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, or search engine rankings, arising from your use of the App.

5. Termination

You may terminate this agreement at any time by uninstalling the App from your Shopify store. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms.

Privacy Policy

Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how SEO PRO - Total Control collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our Shopify App.

1. Information We Collect

Upon installation, we access specific data from your Shopify store required for the App to function. This includes:

• Store Information: Your shop domain, shop ID, and basic store settings.
• Product & Content Data: Product titles, descriptions, images, collections, pages, and blog articles.
• Customer Data: We do not actively collect, process, or store your customers' Personally Identifiable Information (PII) such as names, addresses, or payment details.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected data exclusively to:

• Provide the core functionality of the App (analyzing your catalog and updating SEO metadata).
• Send product titles/descriptions to our AI provider (Google) strictly for the purpose of generating SEO suggestions.
• Track AI credit usage associated with your shop ID.

3. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell your data. We share necessary contextual data (like a product title) with Google’s Gemini API solely to generate the requested SEO content. We also process webhooks sent by Shopify regarding app installation and privacy compliance (GDPR/CCPA).

4. Data Retention and Deletion (GDPR/CCPA Compliance)

We retain your store data only for as long as the App is installed.

• If you uninstall the App, Shopify will send us a shop/redact webhook 48 hours later, and we will purge your store’s data from our active systems.
• Because we do not store customer PII, customers/data_request and customers/redact webhooks will yield no personal data to return or delete.
